Guided Tours
We invite you to schedule free guided tours of our current exhibitions. Participants engage in art-looking exercises as a way to explore themes of the artwork on view. In addition to exhibition tours, we also provide architecture and campus tours. Our team is happy to customize a tour for learners of all ages that best fits the needs and interests of your group.
In-person and virtual tours are available and last approximately 45 minutes. In-person tours may be booked Thursday–Saturday and are limited to twenty-five visitors. Alternate weekdays may be considered, depending on availability, but are not guaranteed. Groups may be divided to safely experience the art.
Museum Career Workshops
Pulling back the curtain on our work, the Pulitzer staff host career workshops to support the next generation of museum leaders. Open to highschool and college-age students, workshops provide information on different aspects of working in the museum field.
Workshop themes:
Artists Working in Museums: What can you do with an art degree? Explore career options in installation and exhibition design, facilities management, education, visitor experience, and more.
The Business of Museums: Have you ever wondered about museum structures and systems? Learn about the behind-the-scenes work of finance, human resources, communications, and registration.
Curation and Public Engagement: Like developing creative ideas? Learn how curators and public engagement staff research, develop ideas, and serve the community through art exhibitions and programs.
In-person and virtual workshops are available and last approximately 1 hour. Workshops may be booked Monday–Friday and are limited to fifty students. Groups may be divided to safely experience the art.
