The Pulitzer, Northside Workshop, and Turn Restaurant partnered together to present Meal To-Go, a program that celebrated summer and supported food access and creativity in North St. Louis. Neighbors were invited to stop by Northside Workshop to pick up free meals prepared by Chef David Kirkland and the Turn team. Inspired by the fresh flavors of summer, the meals contained a variety of options made from quality ingredients including locally grown produce harvested from Northside Workshop and other area growers. The event also premiered a new outdoor sign painting project by Andrea Hughes, Al Greer, and Luisa Otera Prada, members of the Zuka Arts Guild. Titled “Three Creative Bee-ings,” six signs were installed in the garden at Northside Workshop. Music was provided by Crim Dolla Cray, 18andCounting, and Dj Kimmy Nu.
