Join a gallery tour of Living Proof: Drawing in 19th-Century Japan by scholars and artists who will discuss selected works in the exhibition, focusing on the historical contexts, artistic practices, and global influences from European Impressionism to contemporary art. The tour will be led by Jennifer Gunji-Ballsrud, Director of Japan House, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; Jed Henry, contemporary ukiyo-e designer; and Willa Z. Silverman, Malvin E. and Lea P. Bank Professor of French and Jewish Studies and Head, Department of French and Francophone Studies at Penn State University.
