In collaboration with The Institute for Art and Olfaction, author Eileen G’Sell, and The Firecracker Press, personal narratives from people living in St. Louis were collected, printed, scented, and debuted at the Pulitzer in a multi-sensory project. At the release party, the prints invited readers to experience the city through written and olfactory stories, encouraging participants to consider scent as a form of expression, a marker of presence, and a means of connection to the world around us. Based in Los Angeles, The Institute for Art and Olfaction supports interdisciplinary creative projects that explore both the science and the aesthetics of scent.
