Health and Safety Guidelines

Ensuring the safety of visitors and staff is our primary goal. It will take all of us to establish a safe environment. By entering the museum, you acknowledge that visiting is not risk free and agree to follow these protocols for your own safety and the safety of others.

Check Yourself
Confirm that you are not feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19. If you become ill prior to your visit, please contact us to reschedule. We’re in this together.

Wear a Mask and Use Hand Sanitizer
Staff and visitors (over age two) must wear masks while in the museum. Kindly notify us in advance if you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask. The Pulitzer can provide disposable masks and limited reusable face shields, upon request. Masks are also required in outdoor spaces where social distancing is not possible. Hand sanitizer is available for your use before entry to the museum and throughout your visit.

Keep a Safe Social Distance
We ask that everyone keep a six-feet distance from our staff and other visitors not in your immediate group. We have installed plexiglass screens at the information desk to serve as an additional barrier between employees and visitors.

Our Commitment to Cleanliness
Staff is regularly cleaning all high-touch surfaces, including bathrooms. We have installed some touchless amenities and taken necessary steps to improve the building’s air quality.

Serving You
We continue to pursue the highest-quality visitor experience. Adjustments have been made to our exhibition materials and amenities. Thank you in advance for your kindness to our staff and each other. We are here to ensure your safety.
