New York-based AUNTS is an opportunity for dance to happen. For over a decade, AUNTS has brought together performance, music, movement, and visual art, often overlapping and always abundant, to create a spontaneous party atmosphere. Currently under the direction of Laurie Berg and Liliana Dirks-Goodman, AUNTS has occurred in such venues as the New Museum for Contemporary Art, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and various performance spaces and rooftops across Brooklyn, NY.

Their interest in the intersection of movement and architecture has resulted in a collaborative performance that will activate the Pulitzer’s Tadao Ando-designed gallery spaces. Seventeen artists from across the country will perform simultaneously throughout the building, creating an amalgam of improv, ballet, drag, social practice, poetry, and music.
