How can you take action on climate change now, fifty years from now, or in 250 years? St. Louis area teens age 14-19 are invited to a workshop focused on climate change. Participants will discuss what climate change means to you and discuss solutions through a facilitated interactive design workshop.
The workshop will be led by internationally celebrated landscape architect Kotchakorn Voraakhom (Kotch) with support from landscape architecture, architecture, and urban design students at Washington University in St. Louis. Kotch is currently a designer in residency with WashU and the Pulitzer. Over the last 9 months Kotch has studied water systems in the St. Louis region and along the Mississippi River as compared to the water systems in her home of Thailand.
You are asked to bring one image that best represents your concerns about climate change, particularly in St. Louis. You can bring a print out and/ or email your image to programs@pulitzerarts.org. Materials and food will be provided. Transportation support will be provided upon request.
