The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Pulitzer Arts Foundation present contemporary chamber music performed in response to the art on view. The 2018-2019 season is curated by Tim Munro, Creative Partner at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and Grammy Award-winning flutist.
Mary Kouyoumdjian’s powerful Bombs of Beirut is inspired by the voices of those who grew up during the Lebanese Civil War. Introducing Kouyoumdjian’s work are three musical prayers by Caroline Shaw, Jessica Meyer, and Katherine Balch.
