For this evening of alternative poetry strategies, Christian Bök read excerpts from his Xenotext project, an attempt to translate a poem into the DNA of an extremophile bacteria; Claudia Rankine premiered a multimedia work; Paul Legault and Kate Durbin took over the Pulitzer’s Twitter; and CAConrad offered a writing ritual for visitors to perform inside the galleries. The program was co-organized with fort gondo compound for the arts and marked the closing of Art of Its Own Making.
