Shakespeare Festival St. Louis partners with the Pulitzer to create a combined visual and performing arts event. Drawing inspiration from the exhibitions on view to explore themes of domesticity and “the everyday,” Love’s Labor is an original performance that unfolds throughout the Pulitzer’s galleries. Using a combination of scenes from some of William Shakespeare’s most iconic works, this play tells the modern-day story of a married couple on the brink of divorce, looking back at their thirty-year history together.
