In collaboration with sculpture students at Webster University, this foundry showcase explores the dynamic between objects and viewers and the concept of a touchable portrait. Inspired by the experimental nature of Medardo Rosso’s casting methods, students will use both traditional and contemporary casting techniques, including the use of 3-D printers, to experiment with innovative methods in making sculpture.
