Join us for Woven/Worn, an informal fashion showcase featuring the work of St. Louis-based artist-designers LaRoyce Byrd (Roi and Rik), Lucy Dougherty (Knitwear Underground), Michael Drummond Studios, Meg Grubb (Slow Goods Studio), Alejandro Morales, and Moraa Nyaribo, accompanied by international sounds from DJ Makossa.
Inspired by Olga de Amaral’s woven textiles and clothing designs, the event brings together artists whose practices incorporate knitting, crochet, painted fabrics, and other hand-constructed garments. Beginning at 7pm, guests are invited to experience their designs up close as models present them throughout the galleries.
Come to see and be seen, engage with the work of Olga de Amaral, and move to DJ Makossa’s global sounds—including rare tracks from South America.
