The Pulitzer will host the St. Louis premiere of Naila and the Uprising (2017), a new documentary by Just Vision that chronicles the little-known story of the women who played crucial roles in the Palestinian uprising known as the First Intifada. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Suhad Babaa, the film’s Executive Producer and Executive Director of Just Vision, and St. Louis-based women activists Brittany Ferrell and Arelli Reyes, moderated by Sandra Tamari, Director of Strategic Partnerships at the Adalah Justice Project.
The film screening is in collaboration with Just Vision, the Adalah Justice Project, and the Saint Louis Palestine Solidarity Committee. The event is free to attend; no tickets required. We encourage visitors to arrive early due to limited seating.
