Experience the work of St. Louis fashion designer Yosh Dafney with a special presentation from his new collection and a conversation about his work. Complementing our current exhibition, Scott Burton: Shape Shift, Dafney’s fashion line Danfey.co, features unconventional shapes and highlights the connection between structural design, utility, and fashion. Burton’s work similarly explores both function and aesthetics, making what he described as “sculpture in love with furniture.”
Dafney and Vaughn Davis Jr., artist, and Public Programs Producer, invite audience members to view a selection of designs worn by models located within the museum’s galleries as they discuss the designer’s inspiration and ongoing dedication to craftsmanship and creativity. A reception with light refreshments follows.
Seating is provided upon request. Please contact programs@pulitzerarts.org if you have questions or require special accommodations.
