The Pulitzer and Circus Flora collaborated to hold a kids and family-oriented program with performers in the Pulitzer’s courtyard and outdoor spaces. After the performances, the Pulitzer marked the American debut of Jean Painlevé’s Les Mobiles de Calder, six minutes of never-before-seen footage, made in 1946, featuring Alexander Calder’s mobiles—some set in motion by Calder’s own hand—in addition to Painlevé’s better known 1955 film, Le Grand Cirque Calder 1927.
