Organized by FoodSpark, The Spark is a pop-up dinner that crowdfunds microgrants for projects and ideas relating to social issues. This gathering at the Pulitzer culminates a four-month series in Foodspark’s partnership with Queer and Trans People of Color: St. Louis; Metro Trans Umbrella Group St. Louis; and PROMO, a statewide LGBT advocacy organization. The partnership aims to fund initiatives that provide resources and support to the LGBTQ+ community of St. Louis. For a suggested donation of $10, guests will enjoy a meal, hear two-minute presentations, and vote on their favorite proposals. The winning team will receive the money raised. Dinner will be provided by Tree House.

Do you have a project or idea that promotes, supports, or engages local LGBTQ+ communities? Send your one-page proposal to team@foodspark.org by Wednesday, May 30, to be considered; please include your name, the project title, and contact information. For more information, visit foodspark.org.
