Emma Lanier, dancer, choreographer, and granddaughter of Ruth Asawa, will perform Anagama, an original solo alongside the artist’s sculptures in Life’s Work. After injury threatened her identity as a dancer, Lanier looks to her grandmother’s interest in transforming space to find a voice that is uniquely hers.
