Assembly Required features work by nine artists and collectives that share the belief that public action is vital for transforming society. Visitors are invited to build, shape, and use the works on view, collaboratively or on their own. Join us for an interactive tour led by Curatorial Associate Heather Alexis Smith and Zeuler R. Lima, associate professor in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis in which they will discuss select works and invite you to activate them.
