The New York City-based AUNTS, directed by Laurie Berg and Liliana Dirks-Goodman, will produce two events of simultaneous and collaborative performances featuring nationally performing and St. Louis-based artists. The first performance will take place at the Pulitzer, exploring the spatial relationships to fluidity and movement in response to the figurative works on view by Medardo Rosso, the Pulitzer’s Tadao Ando-designed building, and the architecture of St. Louis. The second event will take place at the former St. Matthew’s United Church of Christ and will feature dance and music performances in collaboration with clothesline—the monthly audio and visual installation event based in St. Louis.
