Join us for an evening of jazz and art at the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts. Enjoy refreshments, explore the galleries, and experience how jazz music activates the installation, stylus - a project by artist Ann Hamilton. This event is free to attend.
sound waves a series of events organized in collaboration with KDHX Independent Media and takes place the third Thursday of every month, from 6-9pm.

Each event will feature a different DJ from 88.1 KDHX who will be thematically curating songs in conjunction with a live musical performance that represents a specific cultural tradition found within the St. Louis community.
Performances will take place in separate galleries within the Pulitzer, forming a kind of “call and response” to each other and themes found within the installation.
stylus is the first installation to introduce sound elements into the Pulitzer’s galleries. This, coupled with the Pulitzer’s commitment to provide programming that serves the St. Louis community, created an ideal opportunity to partner with such a strong local institution as KDHX.
